EMPOWERED took part in the "Rock the Mountain for Charity" project organised by Yayasan Nanyang Press to raise funds in August 09. Funds were raised via collection cards and part of the funds raised by EMPOWERED were be given back to EMPOWERED. A climb of Bukit Brinchang in Cameron Highlands was organised as part of the project
